Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy

Required, preference, analytics, and marketing tracking rules for web and Android surfaces.

  • Version 2026-07-19.1. Publication-ready use requires review and approval by a qualified Kenyan advocate. These policies are a compliance-engineering draft and do not replace a formal legal opinion.
  • Strictly necessary cookies or local storage may support login, CSRF protection, session continuity, security, language, accessibility, and core app operation.
  • Preference cookies may remember non-essential choices such as interface preferences where implemented.
  • Analytics cookies or SDKs require a provider list, purpose, duration, first-party or third-party status, lawful basis, and opt-out or consent control before activation.
  • Marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, advertising identifiers, and cross-site tracking require prior, specific, informed, freely given opt-in consent and must not be bundled with signup or subscription checkout.
  • Cookie preferences should include reject non-essential, accept selected, accept all, save preferences, and reopen preferences controls. No non-essential tracking should run before the applicable choice is recorded.
